When Jadarat International first introduced the concept of assessment-based training to the Egyptian and the Arab market, we faced a lot of problems in the application of this sort of training due to the very high cost of the assessment solutions in the Arab world, as well as the lack of localization which influences the accuracy of assessment results.
The same problem popped up every time our consultants advised a client to use assessment services to improve their recruitment, selection, and succession decessions... the same problems with the assessment solutions kept surfacing.
We started to research these problems and found two main issues.
The first problem is that most of the online assessments available in the MENA region are very expensive, that it's almost impossible for most companies to utilize it on a large scale.
The second problem is about cultural differences. Most of the online assessment solutions available in our region are provided by European and American companies and in most cases, no or very little localization was implemented to make using these solutions in our Arab culture more effective, this affects the accuracy of the results generated from these systems.
And so, we -at Jadarat International- decided to establish JAC with two things in mind:
1. Keeping the service affordable, so that companies can make use of the assessment services on a large scale without having to pay an incredible sum of money.
2. Making the service compatible with the Arab culture, so that people can easily understand the questions, and and avoid any stress involved in understanding the meanings and metaphors. The questionnaires and reports are available in both Arabic and English as well.
